Student Consultant Opportunity: Help Shape the Future of Feedback at Arden

Arden University is recruiting students to join a new project focused on enhancing the quality of marking and feedback across the University.

The role of Student Consultant (Marking and Feedback) offers students the chance to contribute to an important academic enhancement project while gaining valuable professional experience and earning £13.45 per hour.

⚠️ Please note: This opportunity is only open to students based in the UK who have the legal right to work in the UK.

Working with the Centre for Excellence in Learning & Teaching, successful applicants will review and evaluate examples of written feedback against an established set of criteria. The project aims to better understand what students value in feedback and identify opportunities to improve the learning experience for current and future Arden students.

The role is fully remote, allowing students to fit the work around their studies and other commitments.

Who can apply?

Applications are welcome from students across all Arden programmes and levels of study. Arden is particularly keen to hear from students from a wide range of academic backgrounds to ensure diverse perspectives are represented within the project.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be currently registered on an Arden University programme
  • Have completed at least one year of study
  • Be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in writing
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills
  • Have experience receiving feedback as a higher education student
