Be a Rep

Programme Representative

Become a Programme Representative to lead conversations at your programme level. This is your chance to co-creating actions by working closely with your lecturers for enhancing your course. Programme Representative is a voluntary position.

Express your Interest Role Description

In this role you will be performing the following activities and tasks:

Regularly engage in touchpoints with your Programme Leadership to co-create actions to enhance your course.
Engage with Programme Committee as full committee members to track the progress and outcomes of the actions discussed to enhance your course.
Engage with External Examiner meeting annually where you can share your learning experience with an external subject-matter expert.

You will not be doing the following:

Resolve, or take on case work, of issues, complaints, and concerns raised by individual students.
Signposting students.

These tasks specifically fall outside the remit of the role and should not be undertaken at any point.

The following experience, skills, and abilities prove beneficial in the performance of this role.

Be a current and enrolled student at Arden University.
Be confident to clearly communicate with varied levels of stakeholders.
Be open to analysing insights in a neutral manner and developing realistic solutions to problems.
Be passionate about improving the academic experience of students at Arden.

It is not a requirement that you have all these as we will support you to develop you through training and development opportunities.
