A huge thank you to every student who took part in the 2026 Student Leadership Elections. Whether you cast your vote, put yourself forward as a candidate, or supported others along the way, you’ve played an essential role in shaping the future of our student community.

These elections are more than a moment, they’re a reflection of what happens when students come together to share their views, champion new ideas, and take an active role in driving change. Your participation highlights the strength, diversity, and passion across our community, and it’s something we’re incredibly proud of.

At the heart of everything we do is your voice. By getting involved, you’ve helped ensure that student leadership continues to be representative, meaningful, and driven by the issues that matter most to you. Together, we’re building a community where students don’t just take part, they lead, influence, and make a real impact.

We’re excited to share that the election results will be announced on Thursday 25 June*. This is when we’ll introduce the students who will step into leadership roles, represent your interests, and work alongside you to create positive change in the year ahead.

Our newly elected officers will officially begin their roles in September 2026, bringing fresh ideas and energy to the work ahead. In the meantime, our current officers will remain in post until the end of October 2026, ensuring a smooth transition and continued support for students during this period.
