Your Voice, Centre Stage: Your Voice Meetings

At the Students’ Association, we believe that real change begins with listening. That’s why we’re excited to reintroduce Your Voice Meetings—a space designed for you to speak openly, share your experiences, and help shape the future of student life at Arden.

These meetings aren’t just about updates—they’re about you. Whether you’ve had a brilliant learning experience, spotted something that needs fixing, or have an idea that could spark change, this is your platform to be heard.

What You Can Share:

  • Celebrate what’s working: Tell us about great teaching, helpful services, or anything that’s made your student journey better. We’ll make sure your praise reaches the right people.
  • Ask questions: Got something on your mind? Ask away. Your questions help us uncover areas that need attention and improvement.
  • Raise concerns: If something doesn’t feel right, let us know. We’ll work with the university to investigate and find solutions—with students involved every step of the way.
  • Pitch your ideas: Your creativity could be the key to a better student experience. Share your thoughts and you might even help lead the change.

How It Works:

Led by your Representation Coordinator, Aarushi Brasseur, the meetings will be hosted on Zoom and use Mentimeter for interactive feedback. You’ll be able to speak freely, respond to prompts, and join open discussions.

All upcoming meetings are already available as events on Your Voice Hub so you can choose the sessions that suit you best (and add them to your preferred digital calendar!).

Can’t attend live? No problem. You can still share your thoughts via Mentimeter, and recordings will be available on Your Voice Hub.

Who’s Listening?

Your Student Leadership Team will be there—not to lead, but to listen. They’ll respond where helpful, but the spotlight stays on you. After each meeting, we’ll debrief and explore how your feedback can drive real change.

Stay in the Loop:

Look out for updates in the Your Voice Only Louder newsletter and the Monthly Digest, where we’ll share what’s happening across the university and your community.

Guest Speakers?

If we invite guest speakers, they’ll have a short slot to share useful info—but the rest of the meeting is yours. Consultations and focus groups will be held separately to keep the focus on your voice.
