This Halloween, we're not just carving pumpkins - we're unveiling a team of spirted student leaders ready to champion your voice, your ideas, and your experience.
This week your new Student Leadership team take office and begin a year of action where we are predicting some great things on the cards.
What is in store for our leaders this week
Today marks the start of their student leadership journey and their roles. Like any new role their first couple of week will be made up of training and knowledge building. They will:
- Meet the Student Leadership team and the wider Students' Association team
- Engage in session like an introduction to the higher education landscape, their roles, and democracy
- Start to meet senior leaders at the University and build rapport to support action
- Work on their leadership webpages so they can keep you up to date on what they are up to
This will support the team, and them individually, to start to form a plan and act on their priorities with the support of the Students' Association team.
