The new academic year has begun, and we are pleased to see not only our returning students, but we also welcome our new students to our growing community. We are your Students’ Association, and we are here for you.
It’s official, the 2025-2026 academic year has started, and we are overjoyed to welcome our new students who are starting their journey, as well as our returning students who continue to transform their lives through education.
When you start at Arden University you are not just starting a course but joining a growing community of students, learning, supporting, and developing together. We truly believe that education is a powerful tool that can be used to change the world around us.
Your Students’ Association may not be able to change the world, but we are here to empower, advocate and champion you, our students, to change and enhance the experience and academic interests of all students at Arden University.
Who are we?
We, as Your Students’ Association, truly believe that education can transform the lives of our students and we are here to ensure that your student journey is transformational and successful. We are here to represent, advocate and empower you to voice your academic interests and work with the University to change services and to also ensure that the collective experience of students is a positive one.
It is our vision that we can influence every decision that effects students. We stand up for those who need a voice and make sure student interests are always a priority.
What’s more, we are student-led. Your Students’ Association Student Leaders are fellow Arden University students who were elected by you to lead on the projects we do to enhance your experience. They are also members of the highest university boards and committees ensuring that your academic interests are represented and listened to when and where decisions are made.
We don’t just empower your Student Leaders to do this, but we will also:
You can learn more about your Students’ Association and how you can get involved online at www.ardenstudents.org.
Who are my representatives?
One of the ways we ensure your voice is heard is through your elected Student Leaders, who attend committees and work on projects that look to create positive change.
Student Leaders are elected by yourselves every year, they will run on a manifesto of the aims they will prioritise throughout their year in office. Due to the result of our recent Elections, in November we will welcome your new student leadership team.

This is an exciting time as this will be the first time Arden will have a Vice President Education and Vice President Student Needs. Until the wider team start, Jay Agbaje, your current and next year's Student President will be continuing to lobby on your behalf.
It is not just your Student Leaders that represent students. You can choose to become a representative for your course. These roles are voluntary and essential as they will work directly with course leadership to understand the needs of students, analyse options for solutions and co-develop action plans that once implemented will enhance the experience and quality of our courses.

How do I become a member of the Students’ Association?
When you join the University you also automatically become one of our members. No payment, no fuss, just representational services that work to put your interests at the heart of decisions that impact students.
You do have the ability to opt out of being a member of the Students’ Association. Doing this will not detriment your access to essential services, like our Advice Service, but will mean that you couldn’t engage in membership services such as student democracy.
