Calling all Nominees - Support sessions for President Elections start next week!

The Students' Association are running several support sessions for our nominees in the Student President Elections 24/25. If you are a nominee, find out more details on these sessions and how to join here.

A massive thank you to all of the wonderful students who have nominated themselves for the role of Student President so far!

Once you have nominated yourself, you will receive an email outlining some training/support sessions run by the Students' Association to help you get the most out of the Election process. Below are the details of those sessions.


Understanding the Rules - Mandatory session for all Nominees:

We will be running the Mandatory Session on ‘Understanding the Rules’ on the following dates:

You must attend one of these sessions as outlined in the Election rules. Once you have chosen your preferred time, please inform the Student Voice team. Just email to do so. Please ensure that you have read the election rules before joining the session.

In an exceptional circumstance where you are unable to attend either of these sessions, please let us know immediately and we will be in touch with you to schedule a 1:1 zoom session.


Top Tips and Ideas on Campaigning:

We will also be running a session on ‘Top tips and ideas on Campaigning’ which you can attend on Zoom on the following date:


'Thinking of Running' Chat:

If you have further questions on elections, you can get involved in one of our ‘Thinking of Running’ chats! These are informal sessions designed to go through the Students’ Association President role objectives and to talk through an overview of what the Election is. This will be hosted by the Students’ Association staff on Zoom. Just email to request a timeslot.
