We are pleased, and excited, to see the University partner with Foodles to launch a Smart Fridge pilot at our Birmingham and Holborn Campuses.
Your Students' Association undertook a Cost of Living survey last year where 4,308 students shared their experiences. This informed how we advocated for support at Arden University to meet your student needs.
We are pleased to see one of the initiatives that we have successfully lobbied for become a reality. The University has partnered with Foodles to launch a Smart Fridge pilot scheme at our Birmingham and Holborn campuses.
The aim of this is to provide healthy, affordable, and accessible food options at your campus. The prices available through the smart fridges has been heavily subsidised by the University to ensure everyone can enjoy this when on campus.
We are excited to see how this pilot will positively impact your student experience. This scheme is initially running at Birmingham and Holborn. However, if successful it will be rolled out across all of our other campuses!
This is an exciting win for your Students' Association and wouldn't have been possible with the input of your Student President. The launch of Foodles
Foodles on campus will be launching on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st October with exciting launch events.
During the launch events, Foodles will be on hand to walk you through how everything will work, provide free samples, and answer any questions you have.

Foodles will be providing a Smart Fridge option that you will be able to access 24/7 across the week.
You will find:
- 20+ options daily, including breakfast, mains, sandwiches, snacks and desserts.
- Fresh meals prepared daily by chefs using quality, seasonal ingredients.
- Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options available.
Every will be clearly labelled with ingredients and nutritional information.
