We previously shared the exciting news of your new Student Leadership Team earlier in the year. This included the introduction of 2 new roles to better represent your academic interests and student needs; Vice President Student Needs and Vice President Education.
Announcement
Daniela, who was successfully elected Vice President Student Needs, unfortunately is unable to take up the position. Therefore, in accordance with our Election Regulations, we go to the second placed candidate for that role.
We are excited to announce that Jessica Ekeanyanwu will be your first Vice President Student Needs.
We look forward to welcoming Jessica along with Victoria and Jay from Monday 27th October as your new Student Leadership Team.

What our Election Regulations say
The Students' Association has a set of Election Regulations that outline how we conduct the elections to ensure the process is fair, transparent, and properly run.
In a situation where a successful candidate cannot take up a position, our regulations say:
"Becomes vacant before taking office: where a successful candidate does not take office the role can be offered to the second-place candidate, at the discretion of the Returning Officer. If there is no second-place candidate, the second-place candidate is RON or the second-place candidate does not accept the role, the role shall be filled through a by-election."
