Here's what we've achieved together:

Student Leadership got bigger and better

Your Student Leader team just got bigger! This year, we grew from one sabbatical officer to three - giving you even stronger representation. Leading the way are Jay Agbaje (Student President, re-elected for a second term), Victoria Etim (Vice-President for Education), and Jessica Ekeanyanwu (Vice-President for Student Needs).

Giving Student Parents a voice

We held our Student Parent consultation, and received lots of valuable feedback that we’ll use to shape the support that’s offered to you going forward. We learnt that 89% of student parents say their biggest challenge is balancing study time with parenting responsibilities and 49% say school holidays make academic life even harder to manage. This survey isn’t just about collecting data - it’s about building a case for better support, more flexibility, and a university experience that works for everyone. Especially those juggling their degree with childcare.

Town Halls

Town Hall event - asking your questions direct to leadership

Town Halls are an opportunity for you to express your views, questions, and needs directly to senior leadership and hear what they have to say about the work their teams are doing to meet your needs. We held two Town Halls in 2025, and these have been a valuable resource for us in Your Students’ Association to learn more about the current issues students are facing at Arden.
