Accessing the advice and guidance you need

At the Students' Association at Arden University, we offer a range of support services to help you navigate university life with confidence. We want to empower you to take control of your learning experience with confidence. This involves giving you the tools and resources to navigate university life but recognising that everyone, at anytime, can need additional support. So we will also ensure you know what support is available and how to access it.

Our advice service, powered through Alkhemy, is here to provide you with advice and guidance. Their expert team understand your rights and options and ensure they are familiar with Arden Universities policies and procedures. This service only provide advice on academic policies and procedures.

About our service

Your Students' Association are committed to ensuring you have access to free, independent, confidential and impartial advice and guidance when you need it most. As we are a part of the University we recognise that we are not independent and that is why we have partnered with Alkhemy. 

 

Who are Alkhemy?

Alkhemy is a social impact company that work with organisation, like us, that represent or engage students. Like us they aim to empower true student voice and provide services such as advice and guidance. We have partnered with them so that they can provide you with accessible, independent and impartial advice on our behalf.

Our collaboration with Alkhemy aims to empower you, our students, to navigate complex academic regulations and processes with confidence. Their experienced team will provide guidance on a range of topics under our academic policies, including; academic misconduct, extenuating circumstances, academic appeals, breaking in learning, and more.

What can I expect with the service?

This independent service ensures students receive independent recommendations, separate from the University, helping our students make informed decisions. Not only will Alkhemy provide accessible academic advice to support students, but they are the only out-of-hours advice service available to Arden University students. This ensures those with non-traditional schedules have access to support when they need it most. Whether you need help understanding policies or navigating university processes, their team is here to support you.

  • Operational Service Framework

    The Operational Service Framework for Arden University Students' Association Advice Service includes several key components: service standards, a confidentiality statement, a privacy notice, a data protection policy, a conflict of interest policy, and a safeguarding policy. These elements outline the principles and guidelines governing the advice service, ensuring confidentiality, data protection, and ethical practices.
