Governance

Governance refers to the systems, processes, and structures that guide how decisions are made, responsibilities are assigned, and accountability is maintained within an organisation or community.

In simple terms, governance is about who has the power to make decisions, how those decisions are made, and how everyone involved is held accountable.

What does this mean for the Students' Association?

At Arden University Students' Association, we are governed by our constitution, and by Arden University Students' Association Advisory Board, made up of external, university, and student members.

It's essentially the framework that keeps everything running smoothly and ensures decisions reflect the interests of the student community.

Students' Association Advisory Board

The board sits within the Universities governance structures, providing regular reports to relevant committees, and acts as the strategic committee to support the development of the Association.
